T/A's

The T/A's came today, we will traveling around Oct 7-22. A little later than we wanted but we are still happy. We are going to miss a big wedding in the family and we are a little disappointed about it, Lillian was to be the flower girl and we were excited for her. We never did tell her because I didn't think I could take months of questions regarding being a flower girl:) Then, we got the call about Margaret and thought 'good thing'. I can imagine the agony from our Oscar nominee when she couldn't walk down that aisle and instead had to fly to China to get a sister. I'm sure she would have been scarred for life. LOL

Well, I have a prune I need to get out of the bath. So far, someone has died and been saved as well as a multitude of other characters and their personal dramas. She really is headed for the bright lights!

First Day of Kingergarden

Lillian had her first day today and it all went well. I wasn't expecting anything too much but you never know. This is her third year at this school and she has the same teacher as the last two years. I really love this Montessori idea, it really is child centered. It's just that she is in all day kindergarten and I can't take her out, like last year, when I miss her and want to spend time with her. Maybe it's good that I'm not going to have too much time to myself, I might get accustomed to it:)
As for Margaret, we had to do a little extra paperwork for the INS. They have gotten really picky about what the homestudy says and needs to match exactly to the child you adopt. It finally got straightened out and is being sent tomorrow to them. We are waiting for Lillian's passport so we can send all of ours to the Chinese Embassy for visas. Trying to work around getting the visas and me needing my passport for work is a little tricky. Trying to get a couple of more big trips in for work before we leave is even trickier! Joe's always thinking about money!:) I'll be off for three months when we get back to get Margaret comfortable so we want to pay the bills as far ahead as we can. We did the same for Lillian but it was really hard to leave her after three months. I think it will be even harder leaving both girls this time around. Oh well, "I owe, I owe, so off to work I go....."
Will let you know when we get the T/A's.

New pics

We just got new pics of Margaret this morning and I put one up here. We think she is just beautiful:) Lillian is excited about Margaret but I think a little tired of us talking about her all of the time! We explained to her that we were the same way about her that we are about Margaret. I hope this will help get us through the transitional period of having another child in the family. She starts full day Kindergarden next week so I think that will help as well. She'll have her own little life away and different from Margaret. Any advice out there is welcomed about adjusting with a new person in the house.

The Call

We just got the call from FTIA that we will travel in 6-8 weeks for Margaret! Wow, it happened so fast. We were told we wouldn't go until January. So much to do now with packing, cleaning, getting the crib back up. It's making my head spin! Oh, and trying to figure out how to do our blog. Be patient, I'll figure it out soon:)
